At Outback Labrador Retrievers, we specialize in training retrievers for hunting and/or hunt test competition. We produce well mannered dogs that do their work in such a way that is enjoyable to watch. We offer training for obedience, hunting, and advanced hunt test handling.

Obedience Training

Puppies may enter obedience training as early as 6 months of age. Dogs learn sit, heel, stay, here, and kennel in this stage of training. With an obedient dog comes peace of mind!

Gun Dog Training

Gun Dog training includes obedience, and may begin at 6 months of age. Dogs learn to be steady to shot, and wait to retrieve until released. They also learn to deliver to hand, on land and water. Owners are strongly encouraged to participate in training as well.
